With a
fresh new look, the
Health Care Foundation
continues to direct it's
focus to the future.
Nothing is more
important to us than the
people of our community,
and the quality,
compassionate healthcare
that can be received
right here at home in
Sulphur Springs, Texas.
The Foundation is proud
to support Memorial
Hospital in the promise
to provide the best area
healthcare.
Established in 1997, the Hopkins County
Health Care Foundation was organized to
secure funds from individuals,
businesses and corporations, to provide,
promote, maintain and improve the
continual growth of Memorial Hospital to
serve the area communities. With the
generous contributions and support of
friends, family and neighbors, the
Foundation is building a strong,
long-term endowment, insuring the
advancement of healthcare for the future
generations of Hopkins County. The
Health Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization governed by an
Independent Board of Directors.
Held annually, the
Lights of Life
campaign gala is the largest fundraiser
- event for the Health Care Foundation.
Although, this most anticipated event is
often oversold with waiting lists,
preparation begins early to make every
possible accommodation to meet an ever
growing representation. The generosity
of Hopkins County and the surrounding
areas' gracious donations continually
exceed expectations in "Giving Back to
the Community". Donations are also
accepted year-a-round, to "honor or
remember" a special someone or "pay
tribute" to a deceased friend or loved
one. Contributions whether large or
small, are always greatly appreciated.
Bequests may be made through Will or
Estate planning.
We encourage you, your business, or
civic organization to become involved
and be a part of the continued efforts
of the Foundation, as we focus on the
future of healthcare in Hopkins County.
For more information about how you can
make a difference and support our
mission to "Leave a
Legacy" through
your philanthropic donation, please call

to build the fenced outdoor pediatric
treatment area. Additional funds assisted
with the completion of the new Emergency

The Gardens at
Memorial
With generous
community support the success of the 2006 &
2007 campaigns made the "Gardens at
Memorial" a reality. Designed with the
goal to improve health, promote wellness and
nurture the soul, the walking trail, water
features and natural surrounds are a
peaceful place where patients, family,
friends, hospital staff and community can go
to enjoy the outdoors and relax.
Prior years' funding assisted Hopkins County
